Kristina L Palmer MS LCPC CEDS is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. She has been licensed since 2004, was Adjunct Faculty at Boise State University in the Psychology Department from 2004-2010 and is also an approved Clinical Supervisor with the State of Idaho. She has also presented at both Idaho Counseling Association and Idaho Juvenile Justice Association’s conferences on eating disorders and addictions. Prior to being a counselor, she worked for Ada County Juvenile Court Services as a Probation Officer, Probation Officer Supervisor, Court Services Assistant Manager and Clinical Supervisor. During her time as the Clinical Supervisor, she supervised substance abuse outpatient and residential treatment for adolescents, as well as the adolescent drug court program in Ada County. 

Kristina specializes in treating Eating Disorders, Addictions, Trauma, and Anxiety. She pulls from a variety of techniques and approaches, including Talk Therapy, Narrative Therapy, EMDR, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Theory, Intuitive Eating, and Exposure Therapy. She believes each person is on their own individual path in life and utilizes approaches that work best for each person.  She also believes the most important part of the counseling journey is the relationship between the therapist and the client and will initially spend needed time to foster a positive and empathic relationship that can also withstand some challenging as needed.
